We
focus on and sell the Snell SA Standard of Helmets!

What are
the differences between the SA, M and K standards?
SA Standard was designed for auto racing while M Standard was for motorcycling
and other motorsports. There are three major differences between them:
- SA standard
requires flammability test while the M standard does not;
- SA standard
allows narrower visual field than M standard (Some SA helmets may not
be street legal);
- SA standard
has rollbar impact test while M standard does not.
- The K
standards are very similar to the SA standards, however the K standards
omit the requirements for flame retardency.

The Bell
tradition of leading the helmet industry in innovation and superior engineering
continues with the BR.1. The Snell SA2010 BR.1 is the first model
in the industry that can be used as a traditional helmet, side forced
air or top forced air helmet. By utilizing an innovative kit system,
racers can now customize the BR.1 to adapt to their individual needs and
different forms of racing throughout their career.
The BR.1
features a lightweight composite shell, leading-edge styling, aero front
lip and a large eyeport. The standard BR.1 is sold in the rear vent configuration
(Top Picture) featuring a Venturi air exchange system. As air flows over
the helmet, the Venturi effect increases cooling inside the helmet and
prevents the shield from fogging by creating a vacuum that pulls airflow
through the helmet. The BR.1's rear facing chin bar vents and top vent
provide ventilation while preventing dirt and dust from entering the helmet.
Thanks to
the versatility of the BR.1, racers no longer have to choose between a
side forced air or top forced air model. By installing either the side
(left) forced air or top forced air kit (BR.1 kits sold separately), the
BR.1 becomes a full ventilation forced air helmet. By using the kit system,
racers can easily switch the BR.1 to the desired configuration for their
type of racing. The BR.1 incorporates Bell's air chamber technology to
increase pressure and accelerate airlow (when used with an external forced
air system) to maximize airflow for improved ventilation and comfort.
Bell's 2011 forced air helmet features the new Quick Lock forced air nozzle
that locks the forced air conector in place yet allows for easy release
when its time to exit the vehicle. The smaller nozzle design helps accelerate
airflow into the helmet. The Quick Lock nozzle can be used with traditional
1.5 inch diameter forced air hoses by using the following air adaptor
kits that connect the hose with the Bell Quick Lock nozzle:
The BR.1
also features Bell's redesigned face piece with recessed areas that allow
for seamless radio integration and easy installation. Racers can also
customize the fit of the BR.1 by using Bell's Cheek Pad Inserts in 5mm,
10mm, 15mm and 20mm sizes to tighten the fit in the cheek area. The helmet
is available in White and Rubberized Matte Black finish - the rubberized
surface is more resistant to finger prints and smudges than traditional
flat finishes. The BR.1 takes a 281 SRV Shield and each helmet comes with
a clear shield and Bell visor strip as standard equipment. The BR.1 is
pre-drilled for use with head and neck restraint devices.

White, Flat Black
The GP.2
combines advanced F1 styling, an innovative air intake system for maximum
ventilation and leading-edge aerodynamic performance. The Snell SAH2010
GP.2 is a fantastic choice for open wheel, formula racers and karters
who demand superior features, light weight and excellent fit. The redesigned
GP.2 features a front aero chin bar, an ultra-lightweight carbon composite
shell, pro-style interior for outstanding comfort and a front air intake
that forces air into the helmets forehead vents for maximum ventilation.
The .200mm GP.2 air intake is replaceable and the helmet can be used without
the air intake. The direct flow upper and lower chin bar vents on the
front of the helmet help to increase airflow and prevent shield fogging.
The GP.2
has been designed to work with Bells aero kits to configure the
helmet for all open wheel and open compartment forms of racing depending
on the aerodynamic requirements and environment. While the GP.2 has a
front aero lip and chin bar designed into the helmet, these aerodynamic
kits enhance helmet performance to provide greater stability at higher
speeds. The aerodynamic kits include top wicker gurneys which create an
air separation point on the top of the helmet to allow airflow to detach
from the helmet reducing buffeting, chin bar gurneys which add down force
to the front of the helmet to prevent lift and rear spoilers that improve
overall helmet stability. Because of the way airflow accelerates at higher
speeds, Bell recommends using larger size gurneys at lower relative speeds
and medium or smaller gurneys as speeds increase. The GP.2 comes with
an air intake as standard equipment that can be replaced as necessary.
The aero kits attach with double sided adhesive that holds aggressively
to the shell yet can be removed easily without damaging the helmet's finish.
The GP.2
is certified to the Snell SAH2010 standard which requires the helmet to
be tested to the Snell SA2010 standard plus additional testing for use
with Head and Neck Restraint Devices. Bell is the first company in the
industry to certify helmets to the Snell SAH2010 standard. Bells
M6 terminal hardware is incorporated into the helmet and accepts Head
and Neck Restraint anchor system hardware. (We recommend consulting with
the Head and Neck Restraint manufacturer to select an anchor system that
allows the user to index the hardware in the proper location for use with
the device.) The Snell SAH2010 standard is compatible with FIA8858-2010
and is recognized by the FIA for use outside of North America.
The GP.2
takes a 287 SRV Shield which features the SRV-1 pivot system and thumb
tab on the drivers left side to allow for easy shield operation. Each
helmet comes with a clear shield and Bell visor strip as standard equipment.
The GP.2 also features Bells redesigned face piece with recessed
areas that allow for seamless radio integration and easy installation.
Racers can also customize the fit of the GP.2 by using Bells Cheek
Pad Inserts in 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm sizes to tighten the fit in the
cheek area. In addition, replacement face piece kits are available for
the GP.2 in the event the front interior chin piece needs to be replaced.
The helmet is available in White and Rubberized Matte Black finish
the rubberized surface is more resistant to finger prints and smudges
than traditional flat finishes.
Customers
buying the GP.2 also may be interested in accessory items including an
anti-fog double screen shield insert to eliminate fogging in high humidity
environments, chin cover seals (small and large) that seal the bottom
chin bar area of the helmet and a breath deflector which installs at the
top of the chin bar and directs breath downward to prevent shield fogging.

system vents on both the top and the rear of the helmet are provided.
These air intake and evacuation ports aid in driver cooling and dehydrating
the liner in humid conditions. An adjustable, tinted visor strip finishes
the design of the classically styled helmet and aids in shielding the
user from glare. The features of the Pro Phenom helmet provide the driver
with supreme quality at an affordable price for a flame retardant helmet.
The G-FORCE
Racing Gear Pro Phenom open face helmet is the advanced racers choice
for quality and innovation.

GF
Pro Force Eliminator SA2005 Helmet:
A sleek new
design from G-FORCE Racing Gear, the Pro Eliminator has provided a new
benchmark in quality, functionality and style. From the outside in you
will notice the difference. The outer contact shell is made from a low
density, lightweight Z38 Fiberglass, Carbon, and Kevlar® composite
blend. The shell is then coated with deep, rich white or black gloss,
or matte black paint and finished with a protective clear coat outer layer.
The rear of the helmet is accented with double ridge lines that add both
style and strength to the Pro Eliminator's shell.

For
a perfect fit...
Use
the sizing chart to get the correct size for your helmet. Carefully
measure around your head, above the ears and about an inch above
your eyebrows.
NOTE:
Although many people's heads may measure identically, they may
be shaped differently which affects size and fit. After you have
selected the proper size, when you recieve your helmet it should
have a snug, but comfortable fit for optimum performance.
