Atlanta, Georgia (August 28, 2007) – Surveys at over 40 top sprint and midget events this year show HANS Devices are preferred 16 to 1 over any other head and neck restraint.

From the Tulsa Chili Bowl to Kokomo Speedway in Indiana, 1,103 racers chose HANS Devices. Only 68 chose something else.

Expert crash engineers and sports medicine professionals at the recent ICMS conference in Indianapolis discussed many important topics. One was, 'Alternatives To The HANS Device.' Atlanta, Georgia (January 22, 2007) – Bob Hubbard and Jim Downing, inventors of the critically acclaimed HANS Device, received the Jack O’Neal Safety Award at USAC's 51st National Awards Banquet this past weekend.

The award originated in 1957. It is presented to those who have made outstanding contributions to the safety of motorsports. The award is presented in honor of Jack O’Neal, a longtime USAC safety official.
