94% of Sprint and Midget Racers Choose HANS Devices
Atlanta, Georgia (August 28, 2007) Surveys at over 40 top sprint and midget events this year show HANS Devices are preferred 16 to 1 over any other head and neck restraint.
From the Tulsa Chili Bowl to Kokomo Speedway in Indiana, 1,103 racers chose HANS Devices. Only 68 chose something else.
Respected sprint and midget expert Rick Nichols said, "This is the 4th year we have done this survey. Racers trust the class leading performance, comfort and service they get with their HANS Device. Everyone now realizes that the old strap devices, like the original Hutchens, are just not effective."
HANS Performance Products CEO Mark Stiles said, "In USAC it is rare to see racers use anything other than a HANS Device. The old strap devices are disappearing as racers appreciate the performance advantages of products like the HANS Device and sanctioning bodies adopt SFI standards."
Leading performance, lightweight, ease of use and service from over 200 dealers makes the HANS Device the choice of winners in all forms of racing. |

Device Ranks Among Top 2000 Fastest Growing Companies
August 24, 2007 (Atlanta, Georgia) HANS Performance Products ranked number 1999 on the 2007 Inc. 5000 list of The Fastest Growing Private Companies in America. This is a huge accomplishment for the company that invented the #1 head and neck restraint chosen by racers.
The manufacturers of the HANS Device first recognized a need for head and neck restraints in 1981. For 20 years the inventors faced outright rejection but a slew of deaths in the early 2000's brought their message home to racers worldwide. It isn't the overnight success story that a lot of people think it is. Inventor Dr. Bob Hubbard said, "We've worked hard for more than 25 years to educate people why head and neck restraints are important. It's remarkable that after all we've been through, we're still able to grow and being recognized by Inc. Magazine proves that."
The Inc.
5000 list is a showcase of private companies that signifies the expanding
power of the entrepreneurial economy. CEO Mark Stiles said, "Demand
for products that really work has increased as racing safety science has
evolved. Our growth reflects that winners' worldwide rate HANS Devices
as the proven performance leader." |
